Privacy Notice
Version privacy-beta-2026-08-21. Last updated 21 August 2026.
Who We Are
0224 Solutions provides online business checking and reconciliation tools designed to help users identify potential billing discrepancies, payment gaps, duplicate records, payroll differences, supplier-rate issues, access risks and evidence gaps.
For privacy questions, email hello@0224solutions.com. For product support and bug reports, email appsupport@0224solutions.com.
Our Role
When an organisation uses an 0224 tool to process personal data contained in business files, 0224 Solutions generally processes that information for the purpose of performing the requested check. The organisation using the tool remains responsible for deciding what to upload and for its lawful basis.
0224 Solutions acts as controller for its own service operations, including security, abuse prevention, first-party analytics, feedback, support messages and business enquiries. Exact controller or processor status can depend on the circumstances.
Supported Input Types
The Free Beta may process business information contained in CSV, Excel/XLSX, PDF, scanned PDF, Word/DOCX, JPG/JPEG and PNG files, depending on the selected tool and whether the file can be read safely.
Types Of Data
Depending on the selected tool, uploaded business records and personal data may include worker or employee identifiers, business email addresses, payroll-related records, expense records, customer or supplier references, invoice references, payment references, transaction records, dates, hours, rates, quantities, monetary amounts, currencies, system-access records and compliance or evidence records.
Data Minimisation And Special-Category Data
Upload only information that is necessary for the selected check. Do not upload passwords, authentication credentials, secrets, unnecessary personal information or fields that are not needed for the check.
Unless genuinely necessary for the relevant business process, do not upload special-category data. This includes health data, ethnicity, religion, trade-union membership, biometric or genetic data, political opinions, and sex-life or sexual-orientation data.
Document And Image Processing
Native or text-based documents may be parsed to identify relevant structured information. Scanned PDFs, JPG, JPEG and PNG files use first-party browser-based OCR. The OCR assets are hosted by 0224 Solutions and OCR occurs in the user's browser.
Uploaded document contents are not sent to an external AI provider, external OCR provider or document-processing provider in the current Free Beta. OCR-derived information may be uncertain, so users may be required to review, correct or confirm extracted information before analysis.
Currency And International Formats
The tools can process supported data containing different currencies and international numeric formats. Currency is preserved where relevant, and users may be asked to confirm currency where it cannot be determined safely.
Different currencies are not automatically converted before comparison. Currency, number and date interpretation is used to perform the requested check; the Free Beta does not provide universal tax, payroll, employment or regulatory compatibility for every jurisdiction.
Why We Process It
Uploaded information may be processed to perform the requested check, allow extracted values to be reviewed or corrected, display findings, generate downloadable reports and maintain service security and reliability. The organisation using the service is normally responsible for the lawful basis of the underlying uploaded personal data.
For 0224-controlled processing, we rely on legitimate interests for service security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, first-party beta analytics, product improvement, feedback handling and support. Feedback is optional, and you can choose not to provide an email address.
File Handling
Files are processed for the requested check. Where the application controls server-side uploads, uploaded source files are deleted after processing in the normal request flow. Automatic cleanup removes temporary upload remnants older than approximately 30 minutes. Temporary document-processing files are subject to processing and cleanup controls.
0224 Solutions does not use uploads as a document archive. Browser OCR does not send scanned-document contents to an external OCR provider. Downloadable reports may contain business information needed to explain findings, so users should protect downloaded reports.
Analytics, Cookies And Browser Storage
The public Free Beta uses first-party analytics to measure privacy-safe events such as page visits, checks started, sample usage, file format used, parsing progress, OCR progress, verification steps, completed checks, report downloads, optional feedback, validation events, system errors and processing performance.
Analytics events are allowlisted and designed not intentionally to include uploaded document contents, OCR text, filenames, names, invoice numbers, payment references, rates, monetary values, payroll values or free-text feedback.
Public beta analytics does not use cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, service workers or third-party analytics tags. The page creates a random identifier in memory for the current page load only, so 0224 Solutions does not automatically recognise the same browser across separate visits. Repeat usage is measured through optional feedback such as "would use again".
The private analytics dashboard is access-controlled and uses a strictly necessary session cookie after a valid dashboard token is entered. That dashboard is not part of the public beta user journey.
Feedback And Support
You can submit feedback without an email address. If you include an optional email address because you want a reply, that feedback is no longer anonymous to 0224 Solutions. Feedback should not include uploaded business data, credentials, invoice values, filenames, names, rates, monetary values or other sensitive source values.
Feedback is retained for up to 180 days by default. Support and business enquiries are handled through email systems and may have different retention and backup behaviour from the Free Beta application.
AI, OCR And Automated Checking
The current Free Beta does not send uploaded business files to an external generative-AI service for analysis. Uploaded files are not used by 0224 Solutions to train AI models.
Image and scanned-document recognition uses first-party browser OCR. Deterministic checking rules remain separate from OCR extraction.
Service Providers And Transfers
The Free Beta is hosted by Hostinger and provided through www.0224solutions.com. Hostinger acts as a processor for covered hosting services and may use authorised subprocessors under its Data Processing Addendum.
Hostinger states that customer information may be processed or stored in the UK, EEA and, depending on the service or infrastructure, other jurisdictions. Where applicable, international transfers may rely on recognised safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
0224 Solutions does not currently use third-party analytics for the Free Beta or an external AI/OCR processor for uploaded Free Beta files.
Hosting Logs And Backups
Hostinger may generate and retain infrastructure logs, security logs, operational logs and backup copies as necessary to provide and protect the hosting service. Residual copies may remain in backup systems for a limited period. Exact retention can depend on Hostinger service configuration and is separate from 0224 Solutions application-level retention.
Retention
Uploaded source files are not intentionally retained after processing. Temporary upload remnants are removed by automatic cleanup after approximately 30 minutes. Temporary document-processing artifacts are removed as part of processing and cleanup controls.
First-party analytics and feedback are retained for up to 180 days by default. Private dashboard access is session-based. Other hosting or security logs, backups and support correspondence may have different retention periods depending on operational, provider or legal requirements.
Security
Current Free Beta controls include file-type and content validation, upload limits, unsafe or malformed file rejection, protection against active document content, private admin access controls, test and live environment separation, security headers, temporary-file cleanup and restrictions on analytics contents. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
User Responsibilities
Users should upload only authorised data, minimise data, remove irrelevant fields, avoid special-category data where possible, never upload passwords or credentials, verify extracted document information and protect downloaded reports.
Your Rights
Individuals may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of personal data. They may also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Other rights may apply depending on where the individual is located.
Because uploaded source-file data is normally processed on a business user's instructions and then deleted, requests about uploaded source records may need to be handled by the organisation that uploaded the file. For 0224-controlled personal data, contact hello@0224solutions.com.
International Users
The tools may be technically usable with international business data, currencies and number formats. This does not mean that every tool provides legal, tax, payroll, employment or regulatory advice for every jurisdiction. Users remain responsible for determining whether a tool is suitable for their circumstances and location.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Notice as the Free Beta, functionality, providers or data-processing practices change. The version and date at the top identify the current published version.
